Dr. Alan Goldberg
Dr. Goldberg graduated from New York University School of Dentistry in 1970. He joined with Dr. Jack Zuckerman to establish Goldberg & Marcus Dental. 37 years later, the practice is still thriving and growing as a trusted dental service provider.
In 1981, Dr. Goldberg continued his professional credentials by attaining a degree of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. This included him in a small yet highly selective group of fellow Connecticut dentists.
Dr. Goldberg is proud to claim that among his staff there are more than half a dozen employees who have worked with him for periods exceeding two and three decades. It is not unusual to find second and third generation patients as well.
His belief that dentistry has entered its "Golden Age" and his promise to his patients to continue caring for them, motivates him to carry on with his career.
Dr. Andrew Marcus
After receiving his degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1998, Dr. Andrew Marcus was accepted into Staten Island University Hospital, one of the top 100 Hospitals in the country, for a Dental Residency Program.
During his dental training and his residency, Dr. Marcus received a Certification of Excellence in Restorative Dentistry and was presented an award In Recognition of Excellence In Scholarship in Dental Materials by the Academy of Dental Materials.
In 1999, Dr. Marcus began his private practice career in Stratford, Connecticut with Goldberg & Marcus Dental, after receiving his General Practice Residency Certification from Staten Island University Hospital.
Dr. Marcus is a member of The American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Bridgeport Dental Association. He is also a member of a leading dental study society, The Fairfield County Dental Study Club. Dr. Marcus accumulates over 40 hours of continuing education per year. He has been voted by his dental colleagues in Connecticut Magazine as one of Connecticut's Best Dentists.
